How strong are the magnets?

How big is it?
32 × 32 cm open. Twelve millimetres folded. 1.4 kg in hand — made to leave the house in a tote, designer bag, or small backpack.
Do I need to be good at chess?
No. It’s a reason to sit down with someone. The rest takes care of itself.
What’s in the box?
The folding metal board, thirty-two magnetic pieces, and a cotton dust bag. That’s the set.
Does it scratch?
It wears. Blacked, brushed metal ages like denim — yours will look like yours.
